Breeding Program

Blue Rider Farm had it's first foal in summer, 2008.  Zephyros is a bay Irish Sport horse, and quite a stout little guy for being 3/4 TB.  He is full of personality and shows all the potential we were hoping for.  We will be rebreding his mother to get a full sibling, hopefully to foal in Spring 2010.

Our broodmare, Captian's Surprise, is a Kentucky bred Thoroughbred with an impressive 44 starts at the track.  She retired sound, and Zephyr is her third foal.  She is out of Captian Bodgit, who has his own impressive record. To view, go to http://www.highfieldstockfarm.ca/captain_bodgit.html.
